Duke University senior and musical genius Mike Posner is on track to be the next big thing in pop music. I know, that’s a big statement. But I haven’t really dropped the ball on any big statement yet. So I’m sticking with it.

His newest project? A mini-series. The producer and crooner will be bringing us bi-weekly webisodes chronicling his juggling of debauchery and tomfoolery classes at Duke as well as all the music business stuff. I don’t need to type too much, because the video tells you more than I could. Enjoy.

Haven’t heard of him yet? Well, to get an idea of the power moves he’s making, he’s one of the acts on 50 Cent’s “This is 50 Fest” at Governor’s Island on October 3rd. GOD KNOWS! clipse, i hope. apparently, it’s from the soundtrack for the animated movie descpicable me, starring the office’s steve carell (or michael, aka mr. “that’s what she said.”). my brother from another, barron from pocket full of paper, put me on. this made my day. shucks, i’m bout to write my own verse real quick.

july 12th. be on the lookout for episodes on this site moments after they air on HBO, just like the last season. it took me from a regular blogger to a household name. try and take that from me, i dare you! like i said, i do it for the college kids and the people with no premium cable.

this was a classic in elementary school. the trailer looks pretty great. a lot different than the book. if anybody has a copy of the book, let me know.
