dom kennedy is one of the few new dudes out on the left coast that caught me immediately. after i heard that “watermelon sundae” i quickly acquired anything and everything i could get my hands on of his. i wasn’t aware this was dropping so suddenly, and actually got word via twitter. what a pleasant surprise.

the first two (25th hour mixtape up and future street / drug sounds) still get regular rotation in my iTunes, and they say third time’s a charm, so maybe this mixtape will be the one to make the masses believe he’s a serious contender in this new age rap game. spots have yet to be solidified, and i’m rooting for him, but my word doesn’t mean a damn thing. regardless, i want to know how you feel. leave your thoughts in the comment section; i’m leaving you with a couple of sample tracks to jam, as well as the download link below. oh, and shout out to the los angeles leakers for mixing and mastering this joint. what a trill name to have. ha. enjoy.

Not much happens except that every main character from “Seinfeld” comes back, and Larry causes more commotion. The world loves to hate him, and this is why this show is brilliant. Entourage beat it this week in terms of quality, but we’re talking about a season finale versus the third episode of a show that’s 7 seasons deep. Curb reigns supreme. Only other show seeing is right now is “Modern Family”, and I’ll have more on that later. Enjoy.

Synopsis: As Vince prepares to head to Italy to film his next movie with Frank Darabont, Turtle attemps to move on from Jamie-Lynn with the hot co-ed Brooke, but upon realizing he can’t, Turtle heads for Auckland, New Zealand in a grand gesture to get Jamie-Lynn back. Drama chooses to give up acting, only to head back in for another Melrose audition. Ari faces two obstacles in buying Terrance’s company: his wife, and an addendum to the contract. Eric’s special lunch with Sloan turns sour, resulting in a fight, but by the time it’s over, nothing will be the same between them.

I know i sh!tted on last week’s episode, but this joint was one of the best season finales I’ve ever seen in my life. No joke. It’s dynamic, everybody is involved, Matt Damon is the man, and the music was so fitting for the scenes. Let’s get it. Thanks for swearing by DC to BC each week for the episodes. I appreciate your loyalty, and hopefully you’ll continue to come back for the music, the tomfoolery, and the random articles. Thanks for everything. Enjoy the episode. john hughes was incredibly inspirational in my life, and i didn’t even realize it until yesterday. i never knew the man made some of my favorite comedies ever, and it’s only right that i pay tribute in two ways.

the first thing i’ll do is throw you a HD (hella dope) quality version of my favorite hughes film, the breakfast club. not familiar with it? do some wikipedia research if you’re hesitant. if you trust me, then just know that it’s about a bunch of strangers that cross paths on one weekend afternoon in high school detention, and it’s ingenious in every way possible. enjoy.
