Oooh, buddy! This is like an easter egg for die-hard N*E*R*D fanatics.

The album leaked yesterday. No, I will not share it. I will, however, toss you this extended version of one of the album’s highlights, “Inside The Clouds”, that made its way to the surface of the earth today. The album version was a huge tease to see what else they could have gone with the track, and lucky for us, they tossed us a full version, which is available on the Japanese edition of Nothing. This joint is reminiscent of those minor chord-heavy jams that were all over the first album.

So my marvelous Twitter follower @TGIME just hipped me to TheNeptunes.org article on this joint, which basically says that this dude just took a program to that regular version of “Inside of Clouds” and flipped it! This isn’t any official remix! There is, however, a snippet for a different song that is apparently a Amazon.com bonus track! Grab that here, and HUGE shout out to TheNeptunes.org for always being the most up-to-date on what’s going on with these guys. Enjoy.

Another N*E*R*D leak, guys. Another feel-good track, but I hope this isn’t a highlight on their album. You know me, though. My N*E*R*D bar is sky high. I only want the best from them, as you can imagine! Their fourth project, Nothing, is slated for November 2nd.

Man, I don’t even know. This N*E*R*D album is confusing me a little.  I will say that the live version I blogged a few days ago goes like 40 times harder. Hopefully this joint will grow on me. Daft Punk crafted this instrumental, though. So I give these guys an “A” for incorporating arguably the most gifted electronic artists into their album’s patchwork. It’s hard for me to say anything bad about them, but you can already tell how I feel about this. I’ve listened 5 times and it’s growing on me, but man oh man, what happened to the feeling you felt after playing jams like “Am I High?” or “The Way She Dances” for the first time?

UPDATE at 2:59am on Thursday, October 7th: I can’t get this hook out of my head. And the bridge / light breakdown when he just starts talking about bills (“20′s. 50′s. 5′s. 10′s.”) is sickly. They won, per usual. I apologize for doubting your greatness, almighty Based Gods! I hope you have at least one Spymob-assisted joint on the LP, though!

I rock with the song. It took me for listens to really get into it, but then that four turned into 10. I like the fact those girls in the front just sat there.

I used to hate it, because I was blown that neither Shae nor Chad get any shine. Then my girl Marianna reminded me about the In Search Of… album art.

Welp, that ends that argument. It’s fresh. And Chad doesn’t like the spotlight, anyway. I went to a show a couple months ago out here at Constitution Hall, and he was on stage, on his phone. Playing his keyboard, but on his phone. During the concert. Damn. He really just doesn’t give a you-know-what anymore, huh. Ha. The new album drops Nov. 2. It’ll be the next thing I purchase with my hard-earned cash.

The streets, as well as Twitter Nation, have been chattering about when Star Trak affiliates Christian Rich would be releasing some new music. I feel blessed to be the guy who can give you the latest offering from the twins! I guess that’s what you get when you are the first people to ever drop their music on the blogosphere. Yeah, that was a little swag, but more of a joke. Sheesh. Can I live?!

This Colin Munroe-assisted electro-pop track was sitting in my inbox this morning, and it’s a jam. Got me out of my bed doing a classy two-step. The hook is infectious as hell. “Say My Name” is most likely gonna be on a future project of one of theirs called Arcade. Admit you wanna hear what that joint sounds like just based off the album name alone.

You know I’m an N*E*R*D fanatic, so you know I’d have this new joint that they performed this summer with Santigold at MTV’s Spring Break. Off their new album,  I like both versions, so in addition to the CD quality version, I’ve got the live joint they did this spring. See that cute girl in the middle? Her name’s Rhea. I follow Star Trak’s Fam-Lay on twitter, and I swear I saw something he tweeted about a new member of N*E*R*D a couple weeks ago. Now if you know me, you know that you can’t get any better than N*E*R*D. Christians have Jesus, Muslims have Allah, and I have N*E*R*D. I know the words to their songs, I understand them even when the critics don’t, and I travel by air, sea, and foot for shows all over the globe. I’m a fan. So when you start to change a good thing, a.k.a. add a sexy but little known chick to my favorite group of all time, of course I’ll feel a certain type of way.

It’s been confirmed by MTV. Read here. I’m open to change, but she’s got one chance. Instant Gratification, the new Black Eyed Peas N*E*R*D album, drops in early 2010.

the world’s greatest group will be performing in NYC on governor’s island tomorrow, september 9, 2009. i will be there, straight off a plane from cali to DC. i’m a dedicated fan. bussing it from the district. anybody tryna hit it? dizzy, omar, maud, mr. anderson, we bout to be out there strong. N*E*R*D fans, unite. asher roth will also be performing, curious to see what that performance entails.

damn. who says these boys can’t write a good song? this released on the Lapdance single record that dropped in ’01, but wasn’t really spoken much of after it didn’t make the final cut of N*E*R*D‘s In Search Of…, so i decided to resurrect it.
