You know I’m an N*E*R*D fanatic, so you know I’d have this new joint that they performed this summer with Santigold at MTV’s Spring Break. Off their new album, I like both versions, so in addition to the CD quality version, I’ve got the live joint they did this spring. Interested in which one you dig more, so feel free to throw your opinion in the comments section. Enjoy.

See that cute girl in the middle? Her name’s Rhea. I follow Star Trak’s Fam-Lay on twitter, and I swear I saw something he tweeted about a new member of N*E*R*D a couple weeks ago. Now if you know me, you know that you can’t get any better than N*E*R*D. Christians have Jesus, Muslims have Allah, and I have N*E*R*D. I know the words to their songs, I understand them even when the critics don’t, and I travel by air, sea, and foot for shows all over the globe. I’m a fan. So when you start to change a good thing, a.k.a. add a sexy but little known chick to my favorite group of all time, of course I’ll feel a certain type of way.
It’s been confirmed by MTV. Read here. I’m open to change, but she’s got one chance. Instant Gratification, the new Black Eyed Peas N*E*R*D album, drops in early 2010.

damn. who says these boys can’t write a good song? this released on the Lapdance single record that dropped in ‘01, but wasn’t really spoken much of after it didn’t make the final cut of N*E*R*D’s In Search Of…, so i decided to resurrect it.
“every once in a while i’ll hear from you,
which illuminates my day /
what’s so scary is, i’m not in love with you, baby,
but i’m unpreventably on my way. . .”
you already know these guys are like my religion. chuuuuuuuch. i heard they’re coming to around my way on tour pretty soon. connecticut or something. i’m down for the road trip, so if you’ve got a whip, let me know. i’m in there like swimwear.

good god, this is ingenious. they hyped the crowd with the stock market analogy when i saw them perform this in the A, and that was definitely when the entire venue was on their feet screaming the hook like they didn’t give a damn. that break down is ridiculous. . .
“it’s over! leave it!”
makes you wanna throw a couch or a stove or something, you know? this is why they are my favorite group of all time. what’s your favorite N*E*R*D song/video? and does pharrell age? or is he still 23?
always gotta keep you guys in the loop as to skateboard’s whereabouts.
concrete loop reports that N*E*R*D’s frontman was posted at the riviera zushi marina in kanagawa, japan, performing with the group for MTV vibrations ‘08. he looks half-asian there with that dirt lip mustache, so he must have felt at home.
i had to dig into the archives and grab one of his best verses. “high rollers,” off his gangsta grillz mixtape. who said the man can’t rap, anyway?

25 songs that should be played in hover crafts, space shuttles, and deloreans. that’s like a CD and a half. much more eclectic than the other two. you may have heard some, but you probably haven’t heard most. old, new, with a dash of DC in there. tracklisting is insane. don’t be turned off by the amount of names you don’t know. i assure you, this joint is wild. if you don’t think this mix is crucial, let me know. so that i bring more heat next time. but it should be stellar.
