We told you last week that the mini-series chronicling Mike Posner’s senior year and road to fame was coming last week. Here’s the first episode. It’s pretty awesome, I like how they’re making us wait another two weeks before the next one drops. Ha. Enjoy.

Duke University senior and musical genius Mike Posner is on track to be the next big thing in pop music. I know, that’s a big statement. But I haven’t really dropped the ball on any big statement yet. So I’m sticking with it.

His newest project? A mini-series. The producer and crooner will be bringing us bi-weekly webisodes chronicling his juggling of debauchery and tomfoolery classes at Duke as well as all the music business stuff. I don’t need to type too much, because the video tells you more than I could. Enjoy.

Haven’t heard of him yet? Well, to get an idea of the power moves he’s making, he’s one of the acts on 50 Cent’s “This is 50 Fest” at Governor’s Island on October 3rd. quinn dropped the mixtape earlier this week, and it was a huge, huge hit. but in case you decided to skip on mike posner because you weren’t familiar with him, then this first joint, featuring a smooth verse from newcomer big sean (who you probably heard last here), should convince you to scroll a little further down and grab the entire mixtape. one of those joints that deserves to be on radio everywhere. oh, and for those who think you gotta give up school to follow your dreams, he also goes to duke university. shout out to the homies out there (teague, we see you!). don’t try and see BC on the court, though.

mike posner…what do you think when you hear that name? maybe something, but most likely nothing yet.  well, i’m here to edu(ma)cate u on the man.  he’s a vocalist out of southfeild, michigan and he’s nice with it.  this is the first mixtape of his that i’ve seen on the world wide web, but im looking foward to more.  he has a few pretty vicious covers on here and some bangin’ original tracks.  let me bless u with a preview…
