amerie‘s touch album was one of my favorite joints in recent years, and then she disappeared for a while. she’s too sexy to just fall off the map! at least get some modeling done or something! believe it or not, amerie is a DMV representer. she even went to georgetown, man. anyway, here’s her latest leak from her def jam debut album. she recruited wayne, and he did alright. the track has a very mainstream sound, but it’s smooth, and plus, i figure since i never put R&B up, i should do so. shout out to my ninja over at P&P for this.

this is like a darker “swagger like us” in my eyes, and everybody went hard, but i think eminem‘s flow alone killed the entire track. i think when people count you out so early (like they did before/after he dropped relapse), you gotta let people know you still run $#!t. no other verse stands out like em’s, at all. and i have no idea why lebron is on this artwork. but he is. embrace it.

best wayne track i’ve heard in a minute, in all honesty. a lost track from that 2007 gangsta grillz album by DJ drama. it’s not yet complete, but almost there. dj drama in there as wayne’s boxing coach. pretty trill if you ask me. and lauren london is there cuz she’s about to have wayne’s million dollar baby. so eat it.

i’ve never posted an AP the prince track on the blog, but i’ve heard a few joints, from freestyle videos to loosies on other sites and his myspace page, and his confidence and dare i say swagger is what won me over. he’s also not afraid to take risks, or rather, cross over genres. this joint is like an electro / hip-hop fusion, but don’t think he goes soft on it. the rock ‘n’ roll influence actually makes the track harder than most. off th new album entitled bella loona love. call me crazy, but i can hear chamillionaire on the remix of this with no problems. slightly reminds me of his collabo w/ weezy, “rock star”,  which you can hear below as well and tell me if you co-sign or disagree wholeheartedly. whatever. enjoy both.
