Mine? DMX’s “It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot.” and then Mariah Carey’s “Butterfly.” Nevermind all of that. I did some hardcore brainstorming, and it was actually a very rare album that is no longer in production. It was Mickey Unrapped. I had forgotten about that one. Oh boy.

Don’t act like it didn’t have jams on it. I’m talking thumpers like the rabbit from Bambi. A couple trill guest appearances, too. And hella no name artists whose verses I was most likely reciting in the morning while I got dressed for elementary School. Damn. They got me. I still have it, and I’ve uploaded it for you. download it below. Before you do that though, I’m asking you to do two things.

First, jam a sample. Tag Team x Mickey x Minnie x Goofy x Donald x Daisy. It was like a 90′s “Swagger Like Us,” all the heavyweights were represented.

back to X, though. he sounds so NY/baltimore. and like a deranged preacher. he’s insane though. BUT HE’S MAKING SO MUCH SENSE! that’s not even drugs talking. he’s just crazy. and one of the best MC’s in my lifetime. i’m 22, so do the research and come up with better rappers. first three albums were classics in my book, and the fourth had like 3 gems on it.

say what you want, but earl simmons, aka DMX, is the most hood guy out there. unfortunately for him, this title this comes at a pretty hefty price: he’s been arrested 6 times between the beginning of may and august 14th. each time for something ABSURD! read about them all.

i feel like hip hop supporting barack is only the power move when everybody’s on the same page. positive, uplifiting music, like that celebrity-studded will.i.am video, works. DMX proudly stating he has no idea who barack obama is and thinks his name sounds ridiculous does not. some PR firms need to quickly run to the aid of both luda and obama, so mccain can’t use it as fuel for his campaign.
