The Great Progression DC to BC x The Great Progression x Good Wood NYC + Updates...

Everything came out epic, as you can see. Huge shouts out to Kerri and Chris from CtotheJL.com for making this happen, as well as my Madbury Club bruv Phil for linking me with a guy who was so busy, I thought he was giving me the cold shouler. After I met the man, I understand why Chris is so hard to reach; he’s honestly one of the hardest people I’ve met in my journey to achieving whatever it is I’ll end up achieving.

I got hella stories and trill footage from SXSW, but with all these things going on at the moment, I have no time to get anything done! I wish I had an intern. But alas, I am an intern. And honestly, I don’t need an intern at all. I just need to stop playing my roommate in Fifa and 2K10 until 2am. Then I’ll have some time to do the stuff I’m supposed to be doing.

Ha. Shout out to anybody who still reads this site. I’m still making a little ad money, so there’s gotta be some people out there that keep coming back. I appreciate your loyalty. The Great Progression coming soon. Had a little change of direction with the concept and design, but like Dom Kennedy said, “I don’t talk about it much, I’d rather just prove it.” So enough chit-chat. All I’m gonna keep on saying is that it’s coming soon, and when it finally drops, it’ll be well worth the wait.

DC is so much triller than NYC, by the way. That got about 50 retweets yesterday, and made a few NYers shed some tears too. But it’s the truth. I’m gonna be back there sooner than I expected, I can feel it. @DCtoBC and @TheGeePee, just follow those Twitter accounts for me. Thanks.

my man jabari is taking his brand to the next level. after establishing himself as the face of HipHopGame TV and one of the trillest journalists out there in the hip hop world, he’s on to his next project: #ArtistAdvice. from the man himself:

“With all the aspiring artists out there today I wanted to create a platform where they could gain valuable advice so some common mistakes made may be eradicated. #AritstAdvice is for anyone to give and receive in hopes to create better artists all around.”

with that being said, listen to the advice that fayetteville, NC recording artist and roc nation signee j. cole has to spread to those up-and-comers, as well as the vets that may need to adjust due to today’s musical climate. oh, and you may just hear a shout out at 1:19. because we are f*cking official. don’t let anybody tell you differently, either. ha, to be honest, i had to bring it back when i heard that, because i didn’t believe it. but yeah, it just happened. good looks, mr. cole. oh, and also, you can see my barber shop in the backdrop of the location, which also happens to be where the commonwealth, the greater good, and stussy stores are located.

shout out to jabari for the great idea, and i expect to see more solid joints like this in the future. wzup to herfection and PMD, too.
