that was the trillest experiment ever. 246 downloads, through e-mail only. the reasons wanting this mix compilation joint varied from just being curious to having their heart ripped out and stomped on by supposed friends with benefits, boo slices, and anything in between. good grief. it was cool to have a personal connection with everybody who really wanted the joint. i enjoyed the e-mails, and i appreciate everybody who checks the blog regularly.

my first mix compilation joint that i put up in june. no DJ or anything, just a re-up of some songs in a zip file. the old zshare link died, so i wanted to put it up cuz a bunch of people have been asking me about it. so here it is, back by popular demand. not really popular, but kinda popular. like, a few friends have asked about it. dag.

yerp. mcfly is here. inspiration? lupe fiasco’s “mcfly” and nando mcflyy, a dc native and ferocious wordsmith, both of whom are featured on this. what’s it about? it takes over where the first joint left off. sure it was about that charisma on vol. 1. but now it’s about that swag. they make you ask yourself, “how fly are you?”

and don’t stunt on this compilation, you know don’t have all of these songs. there are classics as well as exclusives on this joint, and everybody can appreciate it.

so volume one got critical acclaim by our readers. volume two was featured on the biggest hip-hop blog in the world (what up JD!?), and got me more hits and a few sponsors. and number three?

drake is amazing. the memphis / toronto phenom started his career as an actor on degrassi, and later switched it over to rap. most people you clown when they try that move, but trust me. he’s a beast. i can’t take when great artists get overlooked. too many lames take shine away from artists like drake, so it’s my duty as a internet goon (wzup, ricky) to put on my fellow dukes. i’m not the only person who thinks he’s hot, either. he’s already done tracks with the clipse, mickey factz, lil wayne, travie from gym class heroes, and many others. check him out below.
