I know. I haven’t blogged in a bit. And I’m completely fine with it. Just gearing up for the summer, man. That’s a whole ‘nother blog post, though.

My man Ken Consor over at Syracuse University and the kind folks over at ‘Cuse’s University Union are throwing the Block Party 2011, featuring KiD CuDi, Nas and Damian Marley, and Tinie Tempah on April 29 (Friday), and he’s been kind enough to throw me 4 tickets to toss around to any DC to BC readers in the tri-state area that can make it up (or down, depending.) to ‘Cuse to witness four wildly talented artists jam out on the same stage.

That being said, I just need those who stay in the area to holler at me. All it takes is a @DCtoBC Twitter follow and a RT of this and you’ll be entered, as well as an e-mail to info[at]DCtoBC.com that mentions you’ve done the aforementioned. by 9pm tonight (4.28). I’ll be giving the tickets out in pairs, so there will be two winners.

Yerp, you read that blog post title correctly. The Duck Down 15 Year Anniversary Tour makes its DC stop today, and I’m lucky enough to have two (2) tickets to give to a lucky die-hard DC to BC reader / hip-hop aficionado.

When I gave away Wale “Chillin’” tees, a guy swallowed some worms to get one. When I gave away tickets to Rock The Bells, Bryan of Go-Fresco sent this in. And when I gave away the Virgin Mobile Free Fest tickets, Ebony went HAM with this. What I’m alluding to is the fact that DC to BC die-hards are actually die-hards. They’re regular folk who go above and beyond to hit up great events such as this awesome hip-hop concert. So come with some kinda heat, or don’t bother entering.

This is why I love DC to BC. Because people go above and beyond to get stuff that they really want. Like Ebony, for example. She submitted an entry for the Virgin Mobile FreeFest ticket contest on the last possible day to enter, and stole the show. What a G. Don’t believe me? Yeaaah. More concerts, baby. This time, it’s that Virgin Mobile Free Fest. You know, the ridiculously anticipated all-day affair featuring M.I.A., LCD Soundsystem, T.I., Luda, Thievery Corporation (DC, what’s up!), Chromeo, Neon Indian, Matt & Kim and MORE!? Welp, I have good news, and I have bad news.
