Yeaaah. More concerts, baby. This time, it’s that Virgin Mobile Free Fest. You know, the ridiculously anticipated all-day affair featuring M.I.A., LCD Soundsystem, T.I., Luda, Thievery Corporation (DC, what’s up!), Chromeo, Neon Indian, Matt & Kim and MORE!? Welp, I have good news, and I have bad news.
Let’s start with the bad. As you might know, free tickets for Virgin Mobile FreeFest have “free’d out”. Shucks.
Now, the good news. I got a pair of tickets for you if you need them in your life. FREE TICKETS, I said! If you want them, you have to do two things.
The first is to tell me what you know about DJ Rusko. Here’s a head start:
After you watch that, I want you to research the guy. Give me three solid facts, and don’t take them all from Wikipedia, cuz I won’t take that. Finally, for the dogooders out there (who should be everybody), Virgin Mobile’s FreeFest is calling for your attention and support of homeless youth shelters across the country. The RE*Generation, Virgin Mobile’s charitable initiative to end youth homelessness, is encouraging fans to donate $5 to the cause and in return receive a 2010 Virgin Mobile FreeFest mixtape produced by DJ Rusko (see? He’s doing huge things.). The download-only mash-up features select bands from the FreeFest’s lineup to create a uniquely inspired mix.
