Janelle Monae is finally back with some new music, and it sounds like some experimental, vintage, rock/soul stuff. In other words, this song is something special. This Monday has been pretty good to the music industry.
This joint was a special delivery by my homies from Cornerstone and the Kia Soul Collective tour that I hit up a few weeks ago in DC. This is also the first taste of new music from Monae’s epic new album, set for an early 2010 release.

wow, the sound of this song is soo different from her first album!! like its more sassy rock and roll. Her other music was in a very weird genre…

This song is fire! If im ever involved in a high speed chase, I want this song blaring from my speakers. Janelle delivers amazing vocals on this track and the energy is insane.

This is worth the wait. I hear the new album drops in 2010. This is the type of artist that you support by acutally buying the ablum.
