if this is your vibe, you’d be better off rocking with the “the way i see it” album that rapheal saadiq just put out. similar retro vibe with better singing and better instrumentation.
i like the production and back up harmonies here way more than the lead vocals, which remind me of a drunk dude doing karaoke.

i agree about the back up harmonies making the song, but he’s not a bad artist! hit blindiforthekids.com for more of his stuff, maybe it’ll turn you into more of a believer. or not, but at least give him a try.
i will check saadiq’s joint once i get a new computer.
