if anything, they enjoy it better than anybody other people. junkyard band shows up in maine, and puts on an incredible show for a snow white crowd! no black people in sight. i’ve been to maine, too. there really are no black people in sight. see if you can catch ol’ granny GETTIN’ it @ around :50 deep.
OH BOY! i’ve never seen a crowd so appreciative of the music. incredible. read the story about why a go-go band decided to go to maine here.
the last go-go i went to was at my school, and i saw a girl getting her ass rocked by her then-boyfriend. i’m talking about open-palmed smacks to the face, rick james style. i helped break up the fight, but the guy got a few swings in at everybody before he was escorted out by security and such. i KNOW there are people who were either there, or heard about this. the girl was really sexy, too! unfortunate. tell her i’ll treat her right if she needs me in her life. ha. all jokes aside though, it was reckless on homeboy’s part!
it was probably the craziest thing i’ve witnessed in my high school years. goodness. just an anecdote i wanted to share. thank my homie dani aka “sexy obama” for the video.

LOL saw this last week. Forget just visiting Maine, modi, I lived there the first 18 years of my life. True, there ain’t many black people there, but the one black dude in my class was also gay. That’s the closest we ever got to diversity, lol.
