yerp. that’s right. i’m throwing another mixtape out to the blogosphere. but it’s not dropping today. it’ll drop on friday, and it will be monumental, at least in my eyes. i’m sending it everywhere, and whether or not you download it, i’ll still be happy. as long as somebody can feel it, i can rest easy.
you see, valentines day is a holiday that not everybody can appreciate. not everybody is bunned up in a beautiful, loving relationship. i think that there are more people out there who are instead a little lonely on valentines day. sure, the reasons differ. maybe our boo isn’t around. or maybe we just aren’t ready to be locked down. maybe we’re happy being single. maybe you like somebody, but the feelings aren’t mutual. or maybe you just don’t want to settle. but one can’t help but daydream about the so-called greener pastures that relationships tend to portray in chick flicks and disney world commercials.
my goal is to capture the mindset of a single person in a 74-minute mixtape that you can pop in the whip, or throw on the iPod, or jam in that iTunes. so look for it tomorrow, around noon. no posts, i got homework for days, but friday, expect something nice. please spread the word, i promise it’ll deliver. if you have submissions or anything, throw me those joints too. the e-mail address is on this site, see if you can find it. thanks.
