20080728 dmv DMV Thursdays.

yerp, that’s right. i’ve been neglecting my hometown, and i need to change that. i mean, every other blog site does. well, a lot of them. shout out to those who support us. i don’t even support us, and i know all sorts of people are upset about that. for you who fall into that category, i apologize like reuben studdard did in ’04. i’ve decided that every thursday, i’ll shine some light on what’s going on over there. music, events, politics, news, etc. so if you have anything worthwhile to send me for DMV thursdays, send it to me on like wednesday night. because any other time, it’ll get buried under all these other e-mails! if you could make the header “DMV thursdays” that would be trill, too. ONLY on thursdays, too. i know. it’s strange. but just take my word. it’ll all work out in the end. i may even move it to wednesdays if this becomes successful.

in addition to this, i figure i should support my campus more, too. so i’ll be talking about boston college, my current institute of higher learning, a lot more in this final semester of my collegiate career. everything about it, too. so if i have any fans from BC who read this blog, hit me up and let me know if you have any ideas for that segment. i feel like it’s only right. right? right.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
