these swedes are ill musicians, man. i heard of lykke li a minute ago, but it took me a while to actually get her album and put it in rotation. so far, so good. i won’t bore you with a paragraph that you won’t read, so just jam the video and let me know if you dig it. if you want more, hit me up. and for some more awesome swedish music, check out little dragon if you missed them the first time i put them up.

Lykke Li is dope and I’m usually yawning at these so-called “it”/only on MTVU for a reason artists of the moment.
Her album is thoroughly enjoyable. I mean, look at the video! The moves! The rhythm (sorta)! My favorite song off the album is “Breaking It Up”.

Thought she actually sounded like this band from the UK called the Duke Spirit. The voice and the beats to a certain extent are kind of similar. Check them out. Not going to say they’re great, but worth a listen.

I cant stand this chick, something about her voice just annoys the fuck outta me. More than Little Bit song than this one.
