There’s too much room for Asher.. u guys should stop those negative comments, becoz wat u’r busy with is encouraging Em’ to take on Roth, and that aint good.. let them niggaz do wat they feel is right.. I mean theres alot of cats that sound the same in this game, why beefing Roth.. its even very unfair the way some of u Eminem fans look at Roth, am an Eminem fan my self, v’been down since infinite, and in my opinion its great for Em to have influence some one so skilled and talented like him.. not every rapper get this.. for u who’s saying Em is better then Roth, ya u are rite, but thats only coz Em is long in the game, he’s older and has more experience and shit like that.. u cant relly compare, its like… one last thing, most of the new cats in the game are really fuucken wack.. plies, soulja boy and the list go.. and ii fucken hate chingy.. fuuck iy am out

is there room for asher? i dont kno i mean maybe just in the pop world but eminem appeals to the pop world and real hiphop eminem is a great i just feel asher took eminem’s style sounded good with it and ran with it. if he woulda took lets say nas’s style there would be no comparisons to nas but eminem would still come up cuzz there both whit bottom line is asher is wat we call a swagger jacker lol he took em’s style got that college gimmick and ran with it aher does not compare to him lyricly but i bet u eminem will sell more records….
i also feel asher wont be respected on a serious level to me he a joke rapper i mean eminem is a joker but he is emotional and i think thats wat makesa good rapper stand the test of time. eminem is a more complex and intrestin person then some average white kid

Found these lyrics online, can’t say I’m all that impressed. I haven’t really been convinced by any of his songs that I’ve heard so far. Maybe he wrote this so Eminem doesn’t rip him a new one in one of his songs, as he’s done to so many before.

are you people even hiphop fans? for real? roth is weak as fuck I saw his freestyle and I was embarrassed for him. He was not kool in college and is not even in college and on top of that who cares. he is a horrible rapper and has seen 8 mile a few to many times.

eminem is untouchable cage, iron solomon and eshy are all great lyricist but nowhere near eminem…

First Of all, just because Asher Roth made a song about lovin his time in “college,” doesn’t mean that he’s targeting just college students. Secondly, I love Em, but that doesn’t mean there’s not enough room for another white rapper. now Asher Roth does have a voice like Em, but there music is very different. Asher will be fine, and Em will always get people to buy is albums, no matter how many people hate him, his stuff always sells. Asher has it easy cause people aren’t down his throat about telling kids they should focus on getting high and drinking, instead of hitting the books. We shall see how he handles the pressure soon enough. On the other hand, I think he’s dope. Now let’s address the Em has nothing left to rap about issue. Em has made millions of your dollars, so I think he’s doing ok myself. Asher Roth shouldn’t be compared to Em cause there style is very different. They grew up from two different back-rounds. Asher wouldn’t come out his face talking bout how he’d “fuck your dead mother nd rap the bones up nd leave on the porch of your house,” and as long as he doesn’t cross that line, people should be able to tell the difference in Asher & Em…

Both are real good emcees, but i think Em has lost his flame. his first albums and underground stuff is untouchable no doubt. but lately… songs about ass and being in clubs and shit? i’m not knocking on him, i just think he has nothing left in his life to rap about. i’m not saying roth is beatin him out because like modi said, he hasn’t done anything yet to gain our respect. but, i do see roth takin over in the future.
