yo. so i’m currently jamming the jben.ok radio show, which by the way is probably definitely the illest hip hop college radio show of all time (GW university, what up!), and this group, the package, hops on the mics. out of DC. we featured them on past DMV mixtapes, and i’ve been jamming the mixtape recently, but i never got a chance to put their video for “making waves” up on the blog. it’s cruucial.

oh and if you live in the boston area, like me and my BC homies, spirit, a member of the package, has his new comic book the liberators for sale at COMICOPIA (464 Commonwealth Avenue, one block from the Kenmore Square subway stop, green line). from what i’ve heard, the comic is about four young people who decide to confront the crooked cops, dirty politicians and drug cartels in their hood and take back their streets. kinda like if huey p. newton was batman…OH BOY! go out and cop that for me. i’m about to get my copy this weekend. and when i get it, i’ll take a picture of it and post it. and that’s real. more info at liberatorscomic.com.
