I gotta say, as a fellow Washingtonian I’ve always been a little bit on the fence about v-necks in general, especially as a piece of clothing to be worn on its own without another shirt covering it.

However, having lived and gone to school in NYC for the past two years and living in BK, for one, where all this nouveau-80s fashion dominates, I gotta say, the v-neck has begun to grow on me. Whether I’m secure in my own masculinity to wear one is another story, but since I’ve been hitting the gym lately, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Just wish I had more chest hair, that’s all. TMI?
