jay smooth, the guy who runs illdoctrine.com, arguably the greatest hip hop blog of all time, is a genius. don’t be surprised by his demeanor or anything. trust me, he always knows what he’s talking about.

in this current TV special (sidenote: i used to work for current. they broke me off a serious check, too. so i’m a fan for life), he breaks down the good ol’ days that i never really enjoyed because i’ve been downloading music since the minidisc player was the most exclusive gadget on the market. yeah, that’s throwback. i’m a 90′s baby. so sue me. anyway, listen to the man preach the good word! what a hip hop philosopher.
