after thorough research, i’ve concluded that a goon will smack fire out of a goblin, with relative ease. first, consult the picture below:
how easy did the goon handle those goblins? they’re tied up and everything. they got rocked. you see, a goon is a hired help, typically used as an enforcer for organized crime. or just a beast on his grizzly like a bear at all times. he hits gold’s gym probably several times a week. maybe even some two-a-day’s. he’s always ready to get his hands dirty, and he’s not bright enough to do otherwise.
apparently, a goblin is crabby, evil, gnome-esque, and may or may not have some powers/abilities. wikipedia even went as far as to call these things “annoying little creatures.”
we all know the goon will always fry the goblin. damn, wayne. and i thought that was the line of the year.
if he wasn’t speaking about himself in that, i think i know exactly who the line was about. his lil homie and protege, lil chuckee!
he’s only been on this earth for 12 years, yet he’s on the path to greatness. he kills the “a milli” beat better than anybody else so far. ok, i hyped it. but still, check his joint out.

so hes basically saying your violent and what not but whats violent to a supernatural creature thatll fuck your life up

the line means something else probably, when weezy came up with that line he probably knew what a goblin and a goon are, if he didn’t he wouldn’t have said so there’s another interpretation to it smartass

yeah lil wayne has previously discussed this lyric before and what it means…his explanation is along the lines of whats a goon to a goblin as in what is the difference between the two, nothing, which is why the next part of the lyric is nothing…he is saying that a good is nothing to a goblin becuase they are basically the same thing

goon is a lower class person in the hood and a goblin is the very rich people
This is my own meaning for it. Everyone knows a goon is a thug, basically your random punk ass street thug, and he thinks he’s a hardass. A goblin isn’t quite a thug, but more like someone who just straight up doesn’t care about the consequences, does what he has to do. Could be anyone. It’s like ok you’ve lived the life and all that, I haven’t, but I’ve done so much acid and other shit in the past year and been so close to death so many times, I’ve been in the hospital and I’ve totaled my car and I’ve been robbed and everything else, why should I be scared of some random punk with a grudge? Worst he can do is kill me, so let’s do the fucking thing already. IE, what’s a goon to a goblin. The goon talks shit, the goblin doesn’t give a god damn.
Makes sense to me.
