i’m gonna have to say your post doesnt do nas or his video or his work justice. i hate that everyone’s so philosophical about the n-word and about the socalled problems it causes… and when someone has something real to say about it then we turn our head ashamed? no sir, not me. i think nas is a genius for the hype he caused. now if people would just listen to the track instead of stopping at the title then maybe they could walk away a little more enlightened.

fuck that, the album name isn’t even that anymore. it’s called “untitled” and he drops and album every….3, 4 years. he only had ONE classic. jay has how many albums? even plies has nearly as many albums as nas and he’s been in the industry for 2 years. bump that.

nas is smart, but he just needs to work on his marketing and advertising. hip hop is dead garnered so much publicity, but it didn’t sell that much. does he care about album sales? was the album even that good? it had a few tracks that were aight but i haven’t whipped it out in a minute (RIP heath). i don’t think i need to give a man who is slumming on his LP’s project justice. the video is cool, but he needs to come with more force. he hyped us with an album title and then changed it, then didn’t change it, and now it’s changed. what the blood is that?
